SHS would like to say a massive thank you to Small Batch Coffee Roasters, their wonderful team and customers, for raising £1,707 for Sussex Homeless Support through the sale of coffee bean bags and customer donations.

Alan Tomlins, MD and co-founder of Small Batch Coffee Roasters supports local charities, giving each one that is nominated and selected, a period of six months, to benefit from sales and in store collections.  Alan was approached by Tamara Jaenicke, who suggested SHS as their chosen charity for February to August 2019.  Alan, Jay Bish the Business Administrator and Laura Lumsden fully backed the proposal and collection tins, flyers and posters were installed in each of their nine cafes.

Staff and customers at the cafes in Brighton and Hove, Portslade, Worthing and at Brighton Station and Hove Station came up trumps, raising this phenomenal amount and raising awareness of the charity and homeless crisis in Brighton and surrounding areas.

We are so grateful for their support.
