A brief summary of 2018

Volunteers Street Kitchen

Last year was a busy one for Sussex Homeless Support.  We saw the number of homeless and rough sleepers rise dramatically and we did our best to answer their needs.

We were lucky to have more volunteers join us.  Support came in all different ways – fundraisers, cooks, cleaners, people wanting to help serve food and hand out clothes, people coming to sort out donations, organise the office and fix our vehicles.  Charity and Ebay shop experts stepped up to help us too.

Our volunteers spread the word about Sussex Homeless Support to their friends and local communities, resulting in donations arriving from as far away as Manchester.  Villages have filled our store cupboards, knitters countrywide have made warm clothes and blankets for us.

We couldn’t do this without you and your continued support, so on behalf of all of us at base camp – THANK YOU SO MUCH.
