In March 2018, we launched an online auction to raise funds for the ‘Orange Bus’.  We needed funding to keep the bus taxed, insured and to keep the generator running every night we were open – the generator keeps the lights on and the bus warm and costs £25 per night in fuel to run.

We had some amazing donations of ‘lots’ – tickets to Disneyland Paris, tickets to the Royal Ballet, a spa day, signed copies of books from SHS’s favourite author Nils Visser and a painting of the bus created for our auction.  The list of auction ‘lots’ is long and these wonderful donations raised £2,630 for the charity and helped to keep the bus on the road throughout the coldest months of the year.

We are launching the 2019 online auction on 14th February.  It will run until 14th March 2019.  Support us by bidding or sharing if you can.
